Getting some post-its ready for Giant Robot's Post-It Art show in LA this December. It was so much fun making art on post-its again that I kind of wish there was a post-it art show every month.
The New York foodie Zine Put an Egg on it was kind enough to include one of my drawings in their latest issues. My copy got lost in the mail but luckily enough my local bookstore carries it. For interesting food related articles and nifty pictures, get your copy today from their website!
Still rusty dusty with using acrylics but hopefully i'll get back into the groove of things. Although I don't think it's so much what materials you make your art with as long as you're making art!
In a mood to draw women lately and a myriad of their accessories and clothes. So much material to work with and so much fun. Perhaps there'll be a series in the works? To be seen...
Much thanks to everyone who came out and supported us at APE. You guys are the best. There was a lot of great art out there and a lot of super nice people. Can't wait to do this again next year!
After months of toil, our books are finally finished and printed! It was a wonderful collaboration with the fantastik Marian Dilan. If you guys are in San Francisco on Oct. 1st and 2nd. visit us at APE !
It's been a little busier lately with APE (Alternative Press Expo) coming up, but it is going to be pretty damn awesome. Here's a little preview of what will be in store:
Featuring the fantastik Tony Huynh (pronounced hwin) he's the spitting image of a Korean pop star as well as an amazing illustrator. We draw together sometimes, you should check out his work:
He was studying Japanese via these super special flashcards called Anki, and proceeded to explain usage of these special flashcards for the next ten minutes.
Live jazz at the Revolution Cafe in the Mission, a visit from family from the East Coast, and coffee drinking at a favorite cafe. This month is passing by way too fast.
